Hirschler Üvegipari Vállalkozás is a dynamically developing company in the field of glass manufacturing in Hungary.

In the production of laminated, tempered and insulating glass our experience is accompanied with the latest technology.

Thanks to our developed Quality System our products are manufactured in well-organized production processes which are linked with efficient and documented quality control.

Due to the new requirements of the market, our product range has been changed and extended.

History

Glass has been involved in Hirschler family’s history since the 1800’s. The first glass production shop was founded by Rezső Hirschler in 1899. His business was specialized in art and architectural glazing.

The profession was passed from one generation to the other, keeping the tradition and gaining more and more experience in the glass business. As vehicles became more and more popular after the 1970’s, the production of rear-view mirrors became the most important activity, which led to significant development of the company.

Following the footsteps of his ancestors, László Hirschler founded Hirschler Üvegipari Vállalkozás in 1989, creating the basis of current windscreen production. Due to continuous research and development, production has been growing from year to year along with the product range that includes more and more sophisticated components.

By 1999, the 3200 m2 factory proved to be too small, therefore the planning and preparation of a new plant was started. Two and a half years later, in 2001, the new plant was inaugurated.


Capacity

Thanks to the investments in 2005 and 2007, the new plant reached its current floor-space of 26.000 m².

Meeting the increased requirements and according to the production capacity, we use the latest technologies.

Our equipment park consits of the following machines and production lines:

  • 2 bent laminated safety glass production lines
  • 1 flat laminated safety glass production line
  • 1 jumbo cutting table
  • 3 tempering furnaces with 2 preparation lines
  • 2 drilling machines
  • 1 insulating safety glass production line

The annual capacity of the plant is 5-600.000 pieces of bent laminated safety glass, 300.000 m² of flat laminated safety glass and 1,2 m² flat or bent tempered glass.
